Infertlity Aid
An infertility patient has given
birth after having foot massages. Doctors told kathryn chapman,
40, she could not conceive because of high hormone levels.
but a reflexologist massaged her nerve ends to reduce stress
and cut hormones in her blood. Kathryn, also mum to Jake,
four, eventually had her 'little miracle' son Fraser in Sheffield.

Chemotherapy
Researchers at the Michigan State University found that many women receiving Chemotheraphy while in the late stages of Breast Cancer are
turning to Reflexology to help them cope. In a pilot study researchers from
MSU's College of Nursing tested three different Complementary Therapies -
Reflexology, Guided Imagery, and Reminisence Therapy, in which women recall
times in their lives when they've met and overcome challenges. Of those
three, Reflexology proved to be the most effective. It's also the one that
had the most positive outcomes, it helped women adjust better to their
treatment.
