Reiki History
Reiki was developed by Mikao Usui,
who was looking for a way of knowing one's life's purpose
and how to be content, despite all his extensive research
he could not find a way to achieve this state. A monks advice
prompted him to go to mount Kurama, a holy mountain near Kyoto
the former capital of Japan described as the spiritual heart
of the country, and carry out a 21 day meditation/fast. During

Reiki Treatments
A full treatment will normally last for about an hour. I start by asking the client a few questions and I take a few details. I ask the client to lay on the treatment table making sure they are comfortable and warm, then the treatment begins.

Reiki Experience
My journey into Reiki began when i purchased a book i was drawn to in a bookshop called integrated Reiki with pointy hands and feet on the cover. I felt I had to buy it.
